Letters drawn by hand, in two scripts: Latin and Georgian.
Most of the Latin work is capitals drawn as outlines and then filled with ornament, in golden and silver ink on black paper. The rest is blackletter bent into circles and spirals, so a sentence is a shape before it is readable. The texts are names, and lines from V for Vendetta and Nietzsche.
The Georgian work stays closer to the single letter: one letter of the alphabet drawn large, then filled and surrounded with ornament and colour on black paper. Around those are longer texts, verses by Rati Amaglobeli and Galaktion Tabidze and lines from The Knight in the Panther’s Skin, and one photograph of a sheet in progress, with the two pens it is drawn with.
